For many people around the world, farming is a way of life. Farming is where they get their livelihood. It is an important industry. It is an industry so important that we cannot live without our farms and farmers. Farming is one of the major sources of food and raw materials that keep our economy strong. There are countless farms around the world; with each farm playing an important role in providing people with food and materials for clothing and much more.
Now that we live in a modern world, with huge cities and enormous infrastructures, modernization is always on the move and there might come a time when we keep building structures over farms and other places of natural resources. If that happens, we might not have any farms left. With that in mind, we turn to Urban Farming which allows us to farm on a modernized environment. We can plant on rooftops, our backyards and even on abandoned buildings. Urban Farming is indeed a solution we can apply at our present time and in the future.
