Fashion for me is not just a perfect combination of clothes, footwear and accessories. It is also a way of expressing yourself.   Your fashion statement is a like a thumbprint, it is a way of identifying yourself.

Although, I think greatly of fashion, I  can still say that I am not a slave of fashion, nor do I  spend hundreds of dollars on expensive clothes and accessories.  You don’t have to spend your hard-earned money on fashion, if you know where to look, you could definitely find something of the same quality but for a less the price.  This holds true for my Breitling replica watch, it looks like the real thing, complete with the markings and carvings, but for a price much less than the genuine thing.  And I also got my Adidas shoes and Christian Louboutin shoes at a sale, so I was able to save money but got the same quality.  Who says fashion has to hurt our pockets and bank accounts? Fashion can be affordable if you just know where to look.

Traditional art works are representions of beauty and form. They serve no other purpose that please the eye and sensibilities of people. Clothes, on the other hand, were traditionally solely functional items that serve as protection from the environment. However, modern trends tend to blend these two together in unique items of both form and function. Today, clothes not only protects but also attract attention. Ed Hardy designs reflect this trend well with his artistic apparel and accessories.

Sport apparel may seem purely functional. However, not readily apparent is the considerable effort professional teams put or have put into their uniforms. They also have to be pleasing to the eye to insure positive effects on team spirit and morale to both players and fans. Colors must be just right and yet conform to standards stipulated in the rules. All this is also reflected in the NFL jerseys, polo shirts and other sports apparel available today to both players and the general public.

Leather is made from the skin of an animal, like cattle or sheep. The skin is removed from the body and the fat scraped off. Standard leather requires the fur to be removed while sheepskin making allows the wool to remain. This prepared skin is then soaked in a chemical called tannin from which the name of leather making process, called “tanning”, is derived. This changes the structure of the skin that makes resistant to decay and gives it strength. Differences in the actual process used, makes for the differences in quality of the finished leather. This is why Italian leather is considered better that other leathers. Louis Vuitton bags, both original and replicas, are generally made from leather. The UGG boots from Australia are made from sheepskin.

True Religion jeans are made from cotton, although some may have leather additions. The process of making blue jeans is the same as making standard cloth only with thicker or more treads.
